Mexico

Mexico is one of the most ancient countries in the western hemisphere, it's discovery dates back from the time of the Greek rule.Back then it was inhabited by the Inca's, whose main purpose was the cultural and ethnic background of Mexico being changed. The Mayans came along after the Inca's and brought complicated ways of thinking including a calendar more precise than our current one.Their main fields were astrology and mathematics, this also brought them an array of different gods to worship. One of the most respected Mayan gods was the god of rain, he was instrumental due to the need for crops in the mostly humid country. The Mayans also brought pyramids over Mexico, giving it an even more distributed background.
Modern day mexico is built around the mountainous terrains and coastal towns. Modern-day Mexico's main profit comes from tourism,  and tourists come because of the water. Mexico is known for it beautiful beaches and its amazing sea-life. With a gulf nearby, and the Caribbean not too far away, Mexico has an almost tropical location. Mexico's resources are Oil and silver, back in the 70's oil was Mexico's  main export to America supplying up to 40% of the U.S.'s oil. Now however mexico mines, and exports large amounts of silver to other countries. Mexico has a long history including many cultures, and that makes all the more interesting to know about.
