Medieval Times

Before the renaissance there was a time of knights, quests, and kings leading their armies. It was known as the Medieval Times or the dark ages. The reason it was called the dark ages was due to the fact of no advances in any field all over Europe, the main potential in the Medieval times was war or spread of religion. One of the leading events that happened in Medieval times was the black plague, a sickness that caused severe suffering before death. It would sweep throughout Europe killing many, but would eventually be gone in a few years.

Another well known event that happened during the medieval times was the crusades, where both religion and war were mixed together The city of Jerusalem was not under Christian control and so the war between Asia and Europe started for control of Jerusalem. In the end Jerusalem was lost to the Asian tribes, but several trading opportunities grew between the two continents. Even though it was considered a time of low productive means, they did require a proper political system consisting of several classes. A rule all noble-men were taught was chivalry, and the knights code of honor. In this time every man was to respect another and be kind to their people, and extra kind to women and children. The middle ages were not the greatest of times but they are important today, and influence the world today largely.
