The Super Bowl

Sports started out as games to pass the time but soon they grow into billion dollar franchises and obviously the most recognizable is the NFL. The most current and important event that happened recently was the super bowl where the San Francisco 49ers played the Baltimore Ravens. One of the strange coincidences was that the coaches of both sides were brothers, so either way their parents would be happy to see a side win. However, like most games, their can only be one winner. In the end the Ravens pulled out on top keeping their defense tough in the last few seconds of the game where it looked like the 49ers could win. The most shocking event was during the 3rd quarter the power ran out and the lights above ran out. After the power came back on it seemed the 49ers had just got what they needed because in a matter of 6 minutes they made 17 points to recover from so far behind. Even though in the last second the ravens allowed a safety, the 49ers were still too far behind to go for a field   goal. But it did come to show that the 49ers should not be so easily misjudged because in the end they put up a good fight and made the ravens defense give all they had to keep a TD from happening. Being the last game for Ray Lewis on the ravens, made it a moment to remember as he left in glory. Rarely does something touch someones heart so deeply that they will do anything for it, but the super bowl has the amazing power to make hundreds of millions of viewers to root for their teams as they try to achieve victory. The super bowl is an unforgettable moment because this is where small games turn into a big deal.
