Canada

Today I learned about the country of Canada, and how its independence came much later in it's history. Canada was first discovered in 10,000 BC by the Native Canadians, or more commonly known as Eskimos. Then in the early 1000's Norsemen, or Vikings, ventured farther west than before and found Canada and proclaimed it as there's, this lead to more explorers from Europe going off in the search of Canada. Soon enough immigrants started moving to Canada.
The first and most successful immigrants were the french, they brought new cities and resources, and developed trade between Canada and Europe. When they were at their peak, owning most of eastern Canada and central America, Britain decided to overthrow and get more land. Eventually this lead to a war between the two countries. It was called the French and Indian war, even though the French and the Indians worked together peacefully. Unfortunately the British won the war, and gained more control. In  1867 British Parliament signed an act agreeing to make Canada an independent country. Canada is considered to be one of the most economically fortunate countries, making it a great country. Canada is a beautiful country that has an equally beautiful history behind it.
